Summary
This is a static editorial website. It has no user accounts, no comment system, no newsletter and no forms that store data on our servers. We aim to collect as little data about visitors as possible.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may record standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and reliability. These are controlled by the hosting provider and retained per its policies.
- No tracking cookies set by us. This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own.
Third-party services
- Fonts. Pages load web fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request. See Google's privacy policy for details.
- Affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, you leave this site. The destination and its tracking network may set cookies and record the referral. Their privacy policies apply from that point. Affiliate links are labelled — see our affiliate disclosure.
If you email us (see the contact page), we receive your email address and message content. We use them only to answer your enquiry and do not add you to any marketing list.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct or request deletion of personal data. Because we store almost no visitor data ourselves, most requests will concern our hosting provider's logs or third-party services; we will help direct your request where we can. Minors
This website is for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect any data from minors. If you believe a minor has contacted us, let us know and we will delete the correspondence.
